Macroeconomic data MCP for agents
Unquant combines scheduled economic events, normalized historical indicator observations, and a structured summary of current US macro themes. The tools help an agent put company or market questions into dated macroeconomic context.
Calendar, history, and interpretation
The economic calendar covers scheduled events with timing, impact, consensus, prior, and actual values where available. Indicator history provides observations for named US series. Current conditions is generated analysis of recent themes rather than an official statistical release.
Use the calendar for event timing, indicator history for measured values, and current conditions for a compact orientation that should be checked against the underlying data.
Revisions and freshness
Economic schedules can change, consensus values evolve, and official series may be revised after initial publication. A response should state the observation or release date and avoid presenting a cached snapshot as live.
Generated current-condition analysis may contain model error and is not investment advice. The dataset pages publish the exact freshness, delay, filters, and limitations that an agent should carry into its answer.
Example agent workflow
- Find upcoming high-impact events within a bounded date range.
- Retrieve the relevant historical indicator observations.
- Compare the event or trend with company data using aligned dates.
- Label generated interpretation separately from measured releases.
