Unquant legal
Privacy Notice
Effective August 2, 2026
This notice explains how Streetbeat handles personal information when you use Unquant. It applies to the website, MCP service, authentication, billing, support and product feedback.
1. Information we collect
- Account and authentication: email address, account identifiers, OAuth client and grant records, and hashed access credentials.
- Billing: plan, subscription and transaction identifiers, status and billing email. Stripe processes payment-card details; Unquant does not store them.
- Service activity: IP address, user agent, request time, requested tool or dataset, response status, usage units, latency and security logs.
- Feedback and support: messages and information you choose to send us.
- Privacy-limited analytics: page path, referring domain, current campaign parameters, product interaction events and a random identifier that exists only in memory for the current page.
Do not put secrets, personal information or confidential financial information into product feedback. We do not send prompts, tool arguments, tool results, payment details or email addresses to our product analytics.
2. How and why we use information
We use information to:
- provide authentication, paid access, usage accounting and customer support;
- process subscriptions and maintain transaction records;
- secure, troubleshoot and improve the Service;
- understand aggregate adoption, paid-campaign delivery and product performance;
- comply with law, enforce our Terms and prevent abuse.
Depending on where you live, our legal bases are performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating, measuring and protecting the Service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required.
3. Privacy-limited analytics
Unquant does not use analytics cookies or store an analytics identifier or attribution history in your browser. Browser analytics use a random identifier held only in memory for the current page, current-page campaign labels and privacy-limited events sent through Streetbeat’s first-party EU PostHog endpoint. Global Privacy Control or a browser Do Not Track signal disables browser analytics.
For allowlisted paid campaigns, the server records an aggregate landing request with the page path and campaign labels. It does not send the visitor’s IP address, user agent, Google click ID or search query to PostHog. Separate operational security logs are described above.
4. When we share information
We share information only as needed with service providers that help us operate Unquant, including cloud hosting and security providers, Stripe for billing, email-delivery providers for verification codes, and PostHog for privacy-limited analytics. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a corporate transaction. We do not sell personal information.
5. Retention and security
Verification codes and authorization transactions are short-lived. We keep account, subscription and usage records while needed to provide the Service and resolve billing, security or legal issues. Operational logs and analytics are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes. We use access controls, hashed credentials and other safeguards, but no system is completely secure.
6. International transfers
Streetbeat and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or receive a copy of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
8. Children and changes
Unquant is not intended for anyone under 18. We may update this notice by posting a new effective date and will provide additional notice when required.
